None of them can tell you where your going to be. But if you know, the Cobra can tell you what's around where your planning to stop.

Yes they can, or at least my RM does, it goes by the amount of hours you have remaining on its drivers logs tracker, then it will show you the
truck stops in the area... It’s called "End of Day" in the routing, it also shows, rest areas, parking areas, etc...it will also show you the same info
    around your destination as well..

I've used my RM for just over 3 months, sometimes its a little quirky, you need to be mindful of some of the routing it does, especially in a city.
always zoom out and look at the full picture, it might try to route you around something that isn’t there anymore, Example,
I wanted to stay in a hotel for a weekend, found one right off the highway
RM tried to route me, off the highway, 2 miles down the road to a left turn
then another left turn in another 2 miles... When in reality i came off the ramp, went to the first light, took a left and the hotel was right there...
But the road looked new, so it was a good chance that the GPS didn’t know the road existed.. Things like that....
I've been routed on roads that turn into "non truck routes" but its very rare...
All and all its pretty good ....

I did a lot of research on the 7 inch or the 5 inch.... Trust me save the 200
go with the 5 inch the 7 is HUGE and only offers an HD screen and a Calendar.... Not worth the extra 200.00 bucks.....
the 5 inch is plenty big.....

I see the Cobra in the Truck stops as well as the others, by the looks of it
if it is all important, is the RM has much nicer graphics....

    Be safe all

GPS is all fine and dandy, I suppose, but I would never rely on one for my directions. I know of several times people looking for an address and end up 2 or 3 miles from where they're supposed to be. My own address has something like 7 separate addresses assigned to it and none will work in a GPS. Some people will use the Rand McNally as a backup and check against it for the major routing somewhere....but I find it easiest to just look at the book and make a phone call for the nitty gritty localized directions.

It comes in real handy when it's 3 am, and you get to an intersection that doesn't have the little street numbers to tell you which way to go. It never fails, your always going to turn the wrong direction.. The GPS, about 99% of the time, is very accurate. At least MY COBRA is... :biggrin_25522:

Try running across Mississippi back roads and getting lost. Rand Mac would be my first choice then Cobra.
