The "conspiracy" folks have been saying for some time gasoline engines have actually been obsolete for some time..Think about it.,all the advances in technology the last 100 years....but gasoline engines virtually unchanged...reasoning behind holding new technology?- It would bankrupt and destroy the worlds economy....I do not know, nor an expert on such things.,-just throwing this out there...

well the AP just reported an hour or 2 ago that oil did indeed crack $100 a barrell today. Highest since 2008. Nowhere but up from here. Gonna be really bad this time i am afraid. Get ready for recession number 2.....or at least part 2 because i dont believe for a second the first one has ever completely ended.

I'm with you, man. How can politicians say that the recession's over when we're still looking at 10% unemployment?:biggrin_25513::biggrin_25524::biggrin_25521:

if anything it'll allow you to buy ammunition which is what i am gonna start stocking up on along with pasta and other foods that have a long shelf life.

the thing is when things melt down, bullets and gun prices will sky rocket even on the street and they'll be hard to get. the time is coming us good americans will have to band together to rebuild, i hope when it does (and i pray that it doesnt), we can all set aside our differences and help one another, and rebuild the country.

Last time it hit this high, no one was talking about the end of the country or taking the country back.

That's right, Bush was in charge. No wonder.:biggrin_2559:

my feelings about the country are not really related to gas prices. if gas prices was our only problem that wouldn't be that big of a deal because we could adjust. i really dont want to get into a big political thing but this country is in serious trouble and have been for decades. we're just witnessing the end result.

and you're very wrong, there have been plenty of people talking about the country melting down and have been for a long time. it just hasnt been your typical bill orielly or chris mathews crap.
