Shocky, don't you have some freight to haul? Just make a reply comment instead of picking apart every word of somebodies post. About half way through, a person has to ask, why am I reading this drivil?
    Lighten up already.

Not many can say that truthfully.
Some may come to know the feelin'
    Many never will.
Oh well, ..... they say one doesn't miss what one never had.

The key to drivin' triple digit Big trucks is just because y'all got it,
doesn't mean y'all gotta use it all the time.
    Gear fast
    Run slow
    For economy.
But it sure is a comfortin' feelin' to know what's under y'all's right foot is
there if and when y'all need and/or want to run-'er-up.
Only thing I can think of that you might be missin'
    is a lead foot.

I've had company drivers who were bumpin' the governor pass me in the flats like I was standin' still. Then, when on the incline, I motor by them without breakin' a sweat.
    One driver asked,
Hey! Didn't I just pass you back thar in the flats?
    YuP!
    I believe you did.

Then how is it that now you're passin' me in the mountains?

Very simple, I told 'em, ...... and explained,
When you passed me back thar in the flats,
    it's because I let you.
Now, ..... I'm passin' you in the mountains because
    I want to.
Now excuse me while I shift up a gear.
    Toota Lew! :biggrin_25523:

I agree with "peer pressure", or what you called policing other drivers, I mean, sometimes we all need to be called on stupid mistakes,, or being too tired behind the wheel. If I see a trucker doing stupid stuff, I make a friendly smart aleck remark on the road, something like "yeah, that's where I'd park!" LOL

Problem is, so many newbs out there either don't own a C.B. or they are afraid to use them! :(

Well, well... another day another load of crap to deal with. First off, y'all gotta unnerstand why ol Kit's so grouchy. Both wife and I have been down with the flu that we caught last week at her brother in law's funeral. #### stuff hangs on and on and on.

Now, on to the rest. Taxi.... first off I had no idea you were a woman. But that really isn't germaine. First thing you do in this thread is start poormouthing about my "running 65 on cruise on that stretch and how you ran that stretch real often and that I'm a tard".

To begin with, nowhere in any post did I mention any particular route or stretch; so immediately you're talking trash. Secondly, and most important, TARD is not a term we use here. It's a vulgar, denegrating and personally insulting term in the same class as N-G--R. Maybe that's your thing, it ain't mine. "Used to be married to someone like me"?? Oh hell no, you've never in your life even MET someone like me.

That's it, I'm done with you.

    Now, Aftershock.

What can I say. You're as full of BS as anyone I've ever met..... and you yanked my chain pretty good. Score one for you. We'll see how that turns out. You remind me strongly of someone for some reason. Someone who..... well that's another day. We'll see, we'll see.

Do the newbs even know enough about the Big truck truckin' industry to recognize the underling meaning of your smart-aleck remarks? Probably goes right over their head.
    Ya reckon.

Speakin' of "newbs", I noticed that you just recently joined the forums here at The Trucker's Report, and I'd like to welcome you and thank you for joining us. Don't be a stranger.

If you're not Kittyfoot, ......... who are you?
I take it you're MR. Kittyfoot?
    Howdy!
    A pleasure to meet you.

The flu that lingers? I can understand how that could make a person grouchy. Tell Kittyfoot, no hard feelings. Sorry y'all are feelin' under the weather. Hope y'all get to feelin' better real soon

    YeS SiR?

Pretty much anything that you wanna say, ...... within reason.

Hopefully it'll be the right thing.
If "BS" is an acronym for Brilliant Suggestion(s), thanx.
If "BS" makes reference to bovine excrement, you're not entirely wrong.
I think that chain yank that you felt is when the chain tethered to the ground and looped around your neck became taught when you made a run at me.

But now I'm confused ......... again.
I thought I was conversing with Kittyfoot.
    Who is Kittyfoot?
    You, or your wife?
    "Score"?
    You're keepin' score?
    Hmmmmmmmmmmm
In that case, I respectfully decline the point(s).
    There.
Now the score is all tied at zero.
    I feel better already.
    No
    No
    No!
    Whomever you are.
Don't put off tellin' me for another day.
You'll forget and I'll be wonderin' who I remind you strongly of for the rest of my life. The suspense would probably send me to an early grave. What if it ain't dug yet? I'd have to just lay there until the boys with shovels got around to puttin' me under.
And if y'all came to my funeral, you might catch the flu, ...... again.
Wouldn't you rather avoid that? :biggrin_25525:

Sometimes you HAVE to step in and "do something" when you see another driver/person acting crazy.

But for the most part, "truckers policing truckers" is inviting no better than the old grade-school "class monitor" mentality.
You know, the slimy little booger eating geek that "took names" when the teacher had to step out.

Unless it concerns you personally, or may cause CERTAIN death to another, the best policy is to stay cool on your stool and drive your own truck.
It's none of your affair if someone else isn't doin it like you prefer.
