I'm a new guy around here and am defiantly cruising the site for some helpful information as I ponder whether or not I would like to get into the industry.

just be sure and spend hours reading and getting the insight of alot of these guys....alot of useful information on here if you can avoid the whiners and complainers that are in the 'bad companies' section.....as with everything in life there will always be those who feel it wasn't their fault no matter how bad they screwed up....even though it appears there really are some bad companies out there and it shouldn't take long to sift through the BS and figure out which ones they are....the same things pop up over and over from the same companies......but it's pretty easy to figure out too which are the real horror stories and which are just the whiners....good luck to you from another newbie....i think my mind is made up about my career change.....fortunately i have the luxury of a little bit of time before my current job ends so i can hopefully choose between a couple on my short list....i have a solid background and at least have a really good idea which companies to avoid after reading some of the real world experiences of many on here

@flyingmusician- Hahaha I've already gathered that from a lot of these threads. People don't want to take responsibility for their own mistakes and in turn bad mouth a company. Everything is what you make it. I appreciate the words and good luck in your new journey.
