    Well got some great news today, my WIA application was approved so my CDL class will be paid for in full. Also got some not so great news, Trans-Tech (the CDL school of my choosing) can't take me until 03/21. I had a talked to them last week and was told I would be going in the Th of this month. Well I guess someone with cash showed up and the class filled up, if I were them I would do the same thing. All of those with cash to the front of line please. Hey, they are running a business, and my good news greatly out ways the so so news.
    The only chance of getting in earlier is if some one cancels I'm on the waiting list.

    Just my advice seawheeler but stay away from Trans Tech . They are the worst School in the area ! Decent instructors but other than that nothing good ! I attended Trans Tech in 2009 . They do not help you with Job Placement and they have only One Recruiter that Comes to the School . A Werner recruiter that tells you how Great Werner is and the guy Eric that works there is a total Idiot . If i were you i would go to Caldwell Community College and get your training better school more help with Job Placement and Better Instructors . I know goin the colleg route takes longer but in the end it is a better situation and more recruiters also !

    wow now, Trans Tech in Conover isnt very good..The one in Charlotte is allot better. They have a differant recruiter everyday at lunch 5 a week for 4 weeks.

    This guy eric....Is he a mexican guy? kinda husky? If so he came there from charlotte, he's actully a cool guy. He owns(ed) a Black 379 Pete with a End Dump...

    In just a few hours I leave to go up north to my hotel. Starting class at 7am monday morning. and so all my anticipation has come to an end and its now time for

    Good luck to ya ODX, I hope to follow you on these posts if you have time. How long is your training? Trans Tech is four weeks, they only have four students in each class. I'm still scheduled for 03/21, called the school and told them I could start anytime (they start a new class every Monday) if they have a cancellation.

    Right now starting school at Roadmaster in SLC, Ut its about 3 hrs north of my home.

    Thanks SW, Good luck to you too, My class is 4 weeks also, I'm not sure how many students I just hope I have a room by myself..I'm not a room mate kind of guy but I have to do what I have to do lol....Yes please follow along here and on my thread also.
