With Sprint it is $60 a month and they give you the USB modem for free. Works great no issues so far.

I have a Verizon Iphone and I have unlimited data on the phone and pay extra for the wifi hotspot on the phone (2GB/ month) I do most everything on the phone but if I need to use the laptop I can connect it from anywhere through the phone.

I can even do skype video chat through the phone on the 3G unlimited data plan.

My brother has the 4G HTC Evo but he has only ever been able to use it on 4G once in Orlando and it's through Sprint so he winds up roaming just about everywhere

I just got a verizon mifi device from best buy. The wireless device was free with 2 year contract. I signed up for 3gb plan, as I only intend to use it for google, bing, and other stuff that doesn't gobble data. Also got $100 off of a laptop purchase at best buy since I bought the verizon device there!

Well I made it to Austinburg,Ohio for midnight delivery. Took a 34 in Columbus because I was down to 6 with only two coming off at midnight, Got my laundry done and chatted it up with fellow drivers.

Wake up this morning and go take a shower and my truck won't start. batteries are dead. Got a jump start and all is well so far. Kinda worried about shutting it down tonight because I only ran the bunk heater twice last night and not the whole night.

After I get this load off tonight gonna run down some where in Ohio and get loaded again and then deliver in PA tomorrow. It's only a short 300 miler but after I do this I am hoping I will get a load that picks up tomorrow and delivers on Wednesday that will be around 800 to 1000.

If I get this I will end up with 2800 for the week. Only my second week solo so not to bad if it works out that way. Will see!

So far I am loving it! Had some days where I said oh well but over-all it's been fun!

    Tapeworm Thanks this.
