Yea, we take every weekend off. Is that a bad thing? Not in my book. I generally get off Friday from around lunch to 3 PM on average. Head out either Sunday night or early Monday morning, depending on whether I want a fresh 11/14 after the Monday morning stop. No Florida, sorry. Never been south of Augusta, GA/Atlanta,GA.

    I'm not far from them.
What kind of trucks and how do they run?

I'm tired of these 65 mph trucks!

Sorry for no reply, not spent a lot of time on here recently. No, no hiring outta Ohio. Sorry. Yea, we have slow trucks like most of the industry. Welcome to the world of high fuel cost. I don't care if I'm doing 65 down the interstate. I have had 3 straight weeks over 3000 miles, and I make .40 CPM. Not to mention I go home at the end of the week. The Columbias are the older trucks. We are slowly buying new Internationals to replace older trucks in the fleet, but it's slow going for a small company in this economy. So the white internationals you see are generally the newest purchased trucks. Yea, some of the Columbias are automatics, but very few. OTR trucks have APUs. What model APU depends on the age of your truck. I get pre-passed by every scale I pass, so the DOT must think pretty decently of us. Of course we have EZ pass for all the northeast tolls. Experience requirement is 2 years OTR.

2 years exp is it recent? I have 3 years OTR and 2 local, but my last OTR job was from 03-06..... plus I live in Massachusetts do you think they will hire me? or even want to talk to me?

I called few companies already and they said they can't hire me because last time I was in a truck was back in 08 and my recent otr job was 06.
