i was convicted in 2001 for 2 felonies went to prison until 2002 got out and was on parole until 2005 some companies say 7 years after we will hire you do they mean 7 years after your conviction or the day you finished parole also do i even bother with trying to get my haz mat endorsement

background check for hazmat is $100,but u should be able to find out what will disqualify you before you have it done. i think it's from your parole date,if i remember correctly,but fill out an application anyway. knowledge is power,you can't go wrong trying to find a job.

Check the thread Felony friendly cos. Some of the co's mentioned were Carolina Cargo,Benny Whitehead, Southern Refrigerated(5 yrs),Prime (7 yrs).Another possibility small owner operators might take a shot at you.Probably a lot depends on what the charges were, that got you sent away.
