Hi everybody. Im new to the forum. Just wanted to rant a bit about my last truck job, 2 years ago.
Gray transportation of Waterloo Iowa. They were so Outlaw that I wore a 1percent patch on my company shirt . A typical family run company that made me one promise thhat they lived up to every single day. They would treat me like family, Oh Lord how they did. The maintenance manager , Margo, screamed at the drivers and the mentally challenged mechanics.
They pinched pennies at every turn. I had to deal with broken trailers every week. The maintenance policy was very strict. If the trailer didn't fall over when the mechanic put a new sticker on, then it had to be good. I ran teams with my invisible friend , Tyler Durden, in order to make ends meet. When I thought I had a good week going on they wud give me a trailer that needed 500 dollars worth of repair and take it out of my check. The dispatchers traded me like a prison yard B*CH. I even gave them some cigarette packs to give each other when they were trading me off. The upshot was 2 years ago I got fired for running a late load that needed to be run illegal. Darin and Leroy were fuming mad when I collected 300 dollars a week in unemployment. I enlisted in the Army after that . 6 months after Gray I showed up for Basic and the Drill Sgts didnt faze me. Now I'm in the Rock box and I get to see trucks that are almost as bad as the ones Gray ran.

Yeah, I had a 2000 volvo that leaned to the side and wizzed stearing fluid was worth about 9 grand. I had to drag busted trailers to the repair shop twice a week. The dispathers didn't give a darn about freezing rain. My 2nd month in the Rock box I was still having nightmares about gray.

These people are the worst thieving scumbags I have ever heard of. They still owe me several thousand dollars in wages for work I did.
If one of Leroy's horses kicked him in the head I would giggle. -

I figured out what GRAY stands for . Their trucks Got Rejected in Afganistan Yesterday. If Leroy has the same taste in horses that he does trucks then he probubly gets the ones Purina doesn't want.

Actually I think his fancy wagon he parades around My Waterloo Days is worth about 10 of his trucks! -
I'll say this for LeRoy. He admits he's an #######. He once told me that he would not hire drivers to dispatch because they might empathize with the drivers.
Darin on the other hand will #### you in the ### without even having the courtesy to give you a reach around.
