I know its not always convenient to find and they only have single side pumps but the Wal Mart and Kroger stations are still hanging well below what the truck stops are selling for on diesel. We have a local small trucking company that can be seen at the pumps at our local Kroger station on a daily basis so i know its not an issue. Our Wal Mart And Kroger are at about $3.69 today for diesel. Not cheap but it beats $4.00 if you can find one and have a few extra minutes to get it in your tanks.

Rates need to stay north of $2.50/m or say "NO" to the brokers and shippers.....

Trucks don't run on air.....the shippers and brokers know this.....You O/O's need to remind them of that fact instead of saying "OK.....$1.20/M and two picks with tarps is a 'good rate'..."

OPEC, Saudi ran. Every time the slightest unrest happens in the world, they jack up the prices.

Enjoy that sub $4 per gallon while you can. barrell prices bumped up over $107 earl;ier this mornig. back down to the $105 range but off to another week with prices up. $5 will be here soon at this rate. This should seperate the men from the boys again. But then we will get to hear about the great driver shortage again.
