OK, here's the long and short of it after a month. Still loving the job, they treat me with the respect I ask for as a "seasoned " driver, not too happy bout all the I90 running I've had,but I'll live with it fir now cause the miles are good, and I'm making money, only grief I have is the home time, but 2 days for 2 weeks is pretty standard anymore. If you are looking for a good company to settle into, Butler's your place. No bull they tell you exactlly what they expect of you and what they will deliver

mostly I've been running the northern tier. I80/90
but that's because they know I was a NC to WA/OR runner for years, and I don't freak out at snow, mainly hauling frozen meat and veggies, but right now I'm in Wyoming with Chef boyardee.

Are you can't be talking about the same butler or u must not have the same dispatcher. Let me tell ya it starts that way and then watch out. Just to prepare you, you might want to get used to feeding ur family on 200 or 300 a week with a check of about 800 once every 6 to 7 weeks. Dont plan anything you have to be home for cause u will arrive most of the time 2 days later, and have to go back out before you home time is up. Don't get me wrong they will keep the loads coming but they are alot of 500 to 600 mile loads and 3 days to get it there, and most of the time they are to places you cant deliver early they are live unloads. If you have a truck with an APU count yourself lucky! Dont take your vaction or need to be out of your truck for more then 4 days or so or you will not come back to the same truck (and sorry if u had an APU in the one you had) chance are you wont have one in the next. One more thing to get ur safety bonus keep you paper work in order that was there reason for my husband to not get his ( heard this with my own ears) Good luck with your experiance ours was not great or even decent for that matter.
