Did any of you (with the leaks) get the red sealer around the top of your trucks yet? They put it around the top where the seam is. On the Freightliner we had, we had the same issues and it took talking to James & Greg up at Iron Mountain one night to get it fixed. Once they did it, it never leaked again. It might not be the same thing with your trucks, but it might be worth a shot.

They have not resealed my truck yet. They did the last one, and then it was fine. The last time I was in the shop was in the evening, and I was in a hurry to get going with a door load, and a student. That is what it needs, all the seams redone, and the screws on the cab extenders removed and silicone put on them and then put back together, that almost always fixes it. This is my fourth leaky truck, the century class that I owned was a pain also, and it takes a good five or six hours to seal them up right, I know because I've done it.

no its a good thing the windshield installer at Gary doesn't work on subs. Take a little time and care and you'll get it done right... Heck he didn't even take off my stickers or the cork stuff that was there to stack it... lol

whatever they did, it's likely that no one else knows. Red Sealer? I'm pretty sure that's just whatever witchcraft they use. which is why everyone wants to go to Iron Mountain to get their trucks fixed.

Since I am layed up someone else gets to deal with the leak, they had me pick up a new trainer at the Erie airport to take my truck. So he can deal with the leak, I warned him...

the kw looks sharp, but that cab looks super small compared to the freightliner. How is it for room and storage compared to the IH 9400 or the columbia ?
