If I were to choose Roehl as my starter company would I get a truck soon after training? And about how many miles are the newbies getting out of the gate?

I never thought choosing a job would be so difficult! Thanks in advance for any info.

No, they expect you to pull the trailer around by yourself for a few months. Then you move up to a team of oxen like Oregon trail. Then you get a brand new Pete with feet.

Sorry to be that guy but, you have not been reading these post very well or you would know almost all you needed to know.

    2000 - 2500 per week, maybe more.

You have to have a tractor to get the job done.

Buck, I like your answer lol....

Just don't expect it to be some new truck under 200k miles and fresh and clean.. Soo many new drivers get mad when they don't get the new truck or anything with more then 500k they get upset.. Hell its not like you are buying it, you will almost always get put into a old international and then somewhere later down the line you will get a nicer truck.. Gotta pay your dues.. Hell I had to buy one to get out of my International LMAO..

I saw their '05 Internationals for sale on their website. The one they showed looked #### nice compared to the '06 Freightshaker for sale. Of course I know they are going to use their nicest example of a used truck for the photos. However I saw it as a good sign that they are replacing the old equipment.

Thanks for the response. I just want to make sure that I wouldn't be sitting around for months after training waiting for a truck or if I would get one right away.

I have really noticed a pickup in miles lately. During the recession we were about 1800 and under. They have plenty of loads with lots of time if necessary. Going home will also hurt your miles. My best weeks were when I was able to take a load through the house.
