Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

These posts were from a while back, so I had to refresh myself regarding the responses...I agree with you, totally. 'Mr. Dynosaur' certainly was in a Tizzy! I can only apologize and offer the lame excuse that prolonged periods of unemployment make a guy get a little cranky sometimes...Thanks for the heads-up!

My husband drove for them up until the end of 2009, and they were TERRIBLE. If you like receiving penny paychecks, tho, then this is the company for you.

watkins shepard has a terminal in santa fe springs, ca. they have a 10 day training in missoula, mt. then your off on your own. This means you ain't stuck with a trainer for 30 days. they run the I-5,15,40 corridor alot. If you wan't hometime alot i would consider this company, i pass through the sant fe springs,ca terminal at least twice a week. They hire from a 100 mile radius from this terminal. good company to get your feet wet. after 90 days you could apply for local work if there is an opening at this termimal.
