You don't have to get your permit before going to Springfield, but its a good idea to. It puts you ahead of the rest of the group, and you won't be spending a couple of days at the Campus Inn cramming for the permit test - you can take the test at your leisure before going. Do check with your recruiter to make sure that MO will accept a GA permit, and whether or not a temporary permit is acceptable.

Georgia gives you a paper temp permit. Took about a week for the hard copy to come in. Just to give you a heads up.

If you go to prime do they give you one of them tiny trucks? What's the hometime like ? And anything special with a dot physical? Can you use the physcial u already have or do you gotta retake it?

 

They will make you retake the physical. As for the truck,that depends if your going company or lease op. If your going company they give you what ever they have. But if your going to be a lease op then you can pick what your truck. I have one of those small Peterbilts and I am getting a much better fuel milage. But mine is a lease truck.
