Willie's Place; Carls Corner CLOSED (Again)

I never got a chance to go there....they were rebuilding it when I was in Texas alot...then when I switched companies never got down there again

 

I have ALWAYS wanted to stop there,and have had maybe 6-10 opportunities,but always thought "next time".Now for the last year,its like Texas is again a part of Mexico,I never get routed down there. OR,is it because they know I LIKE Tx?????

 

Yep the old place was an old school truck stop, the new one was a Willie shrine.

 

You didn't miss much. Stopped once-never stopped again. Wasn't impressed. Didn't really think much of it as Carl's neither. Worse #### coffee on I35 in Texas.

I wonder if they are going to be using those cookie cutter structures or are they going to leave the current buildings alone.
