Some people do I would not reccomend it
Myself when I get out on the road I will be stopping ever 3-4 hours to stretch and walk arround a little bit and of course use the bathroom.
You will want to move arround every few hours anyway to avoid getting bloodclots in your legs from lack of movement.
there is a way to pee and crap all he/she has to do is stop but some drivers do not think that way they want to get the load there and get it there now. They think that there is no time to stop to eat, sleep, or crap.
The only eception is if you have diahrea (sp?) you may not have time to find a place and have use a bag.
You do not crap in a bag while driving they pull over and crap usually in a bucket or trashcan lined with a bag.
Some drivers are too lazy to look for a place to stop and go to the bathroom.
I heard that some even carry a portapotty little camping poty for the times that they may need it and nothing is arround.
trainer has disgusting habits, I can't hardly bear it

I hope he was wearing depends.LOL

I heard that there was a trainer at werner that his seat smelled like he used it as a toilet and the carpet was suppose to be horrible too.

If you ever need a pee bottle, just stop anywhere along the road and you will find one---unfortunately its full---yech! I hate it when drivers do that to our hwys!!
-
Keep in mind one of these stops will burn about 20-minutes to a half hour by the time you exit park, etc. Now you have lost 2 hours of on duty on your drive time. Throw in everything else that it takes to get there and you might get 300 miles in for the day. Hope you can live on $300.00 a week.

Makes me seriously wonder how women drivers deal with this problem.

I just wish he would've told me when he was doing it so I could try to avoid bumps in the road or sharp turns. But I never noticed any wet spots.

You obviously dont drive CA!! Not many rest areas and the ones there are full!! And forget truck stops, the few that are there, after 3PM!! Unless you want to stay in a fuel line to go pee!!
-
You will not loose it can't you log those stops as part of your 2 hour split break? I mean you have to take a 2 hour break and a 8 hour sleeper berth break anyway. The sleeper berth can not be split but the two hours can be split up if I have been told right.
So either way you will have to use that two hours up some how.
Why not that way?
Did you forget about that or do you prefer the 10 hours all at once? -
I respectfully disagree, Tarps. When I'm on a "road trip" (in my car, not a truck), I stop periodically to stretch my legs, use the restroom, grab something from the cooler to eat... and I certainly cover more than 300 miles during the 9 hours that I'll be on the road. (I start looking for a place to hole up for the night after about 8-1/2 hours 'cause I start getting tired.)
