Another idiot the world could do without. I noticed an article at the bottom of the page ...
http://www.ocala.com/article/20101213/articles/101219900/?tc=obinsite
... that mentioned a driver got 80 gallons stolen while he slept at the Pilot Travel Center in Ocala. It seems the scumbags are coming out of the woodwork more and more lately.Last edited: Mar 9, 2011

This happens EVERY TIME the fuel goes up this high. Seems like $4.00 gal. is the benchmark. Back in '08 we had a guy who had a cargo van with a hole in the floor, a pump and a tank in the back, and a long enough hose. He would pull into the Speedway station and "park" over the fuel drops. Then he would reach down through the hole and pop the lid and siphon the fuel right out of the tank in the ground.
People will get creative. Time to buy those locking fuel caps. -
The article I linked said he noticed the overflow cap to his gas tank was popped off. Being new I dont know exactly what they are talking about but is there anyway of preventing somebody from popping off the overflow vent cap?
