WS drivers whats your 20

SFS Terminal, waiting on a load. I spoke too soon giving AT a hard time with multi stop runs...this on is a 2 stopper, Bishop, CA then on to Mammoth, CA.

 

yeah i was getting confused i got the one last week saying stop sending stuff to sae and to rrp...then 2 days later the other way around! i thought someone was messing with me.

i finished my 5 stops. only the 2nd one sucked but just because the guy had a lame attitude and his warehouse ##### didnt really help me. i pretty much dropped a couch out of the trailer hahaha, it was really heavy and he was just standing there not helping so i had a go and failed. didnt break anything so oh well. and the last stop, i was apparently past the hours they wanted it...i was making great time i got there before 3...so they told me to just go away and take it to vancouver because we never get there on time. i said sweet, your dock looked half impossible to get in anyway and im hungry, and left.

i still hate all the stops but i think ive gotten a lot better at it.

 

You get my vote, ha, he interviewed well.. maybe because he is experrienced at interviewing... LOL when I ran my company I interviewed several even. If I was impressed with the first or second one I interviewed to see what the others had or didn't have, then I would call them ran domly and ask questions to catch them off guard to see what curse words they would use to answer the phone, I gave every canidate an opportunity to make it or break it, I normally would promote from within, a good driver got considered before a dispatcher with exp. From outside the co. I wish you well.

Looks like we just missed each other, I was in Ontario yesterday!

Sitting in a pullout about 15 miles South of Mammoth Lakes, CA.. My 2 stop load ended up actually being a 7 drop load....grrrrrr
Got it all done but the last one, (1 roll of carpet) bad address, no phone number. Got a number from sae..no answer, left v/m...no reply, called and called and called some more. I was sitting in the turn lane on the main hwy (NO place for big rigs to park in Mammoth Lakes), finally said screw it. QCed saying I was heading back towards Bishop for the night. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

 

Oh crumbs, what did you do to deserve that? Hey AXE is there somewhere tell him to come help you! Hafe fun tell the blond at the first stop with the dock her secret admirer says hi! No don't that may scare her..LOL
