There was a hand here in Texas....wanted to marry the ranchers daughter, Rancher said no to everything cept when he tossed in a case of moon pies...... done deal !

 

Plum Creek Lumber in Montana used to give away hats as a way to see if a driver had watched their safety video. Nice hats, too.

 

I picked up a load of Toufayan pita bread one time in Ridgefield, NJ. The guy loading me gave me several packs of every different kind of bread when I asked if it was any good. Pita bread goes good with anything.

 

I picked up a load one time at Little Debbie in Collegedale, Tn and got some free snack cakes.

If you load at Tara Foods in ALbany, Ga you can get one or two jars of peanut butter.. Yummy.

 

Know that place well, plus know the dock forman. Always hooked me up.

Orginal Bagel-West Cadwell, NJ: Always gave me free bagels
Stauffers-York,PA: Sets damaged product in driver's(check in) room. Free for the taking
Hershey(Excel)-Palmyra,PA: Use to live load at night. Lady at the shipping office(before they moved the bills to the welcome center at night) would always give me some chocolate bars

 

Most of the Nestle Water places - Ozarka, Pure Life, Arrowhead, Zephyr Hills, etc... - will let you take some bottles of water from the cooler in the breakroom.

I had ConAgra in Waterloo, Iowa give me two cases of Hunt's Snack Pack pudding because I pulled a couple trailers out of dock doors and spotted empty trailers in the doors for them.

 

Yep I know what dock foreman you are talking about. really nice guy. I think I've been to Stauffers in York before.

Also, The Coca Cola plant in Atlanta off of Old Dixie Hwy has a Coke fountain set up in the drivers lounge like in the fast food restaurants and anybody can get all the free Coke from it that you want. They even have Coke cups set out for the drivers and workers.

There is a place I used to deliver pallets to in Richmond, VA and the lumpers would always give me free Monster energy drinks when I was there. They had cases of it everywhere, guess that is where they get all there energy from!

I've been to the Nestle Water place in Zephyr Hills, FL before but did not know you could get free water from there. When I picked up a load there it was just empty bottles going some where to be filled.
