it's the way it always is.....

so easy to blame a trucker.

did he (the bus driver) did not think (apparently not) that there WOULD BE an investigation...???

did the (the bus driver) did not think (apparently not) that there might be or would be traffic camera's..??

did the bus driver did not think (apparently not) the passengers might not have all been asleep and some would be a witness to this accident..??

yeah, i "see" so many lawsuits now against the company and the bus driver......

Past indiscretions should not come into it. His current indiscretion should be enough to hang him.

yes the bus driver...don't think I'd want to get on a bus driven by someone who has a history of bad decisions and poor judgement..

I agree, but you know the news, gotta sensationalize everything and dig up every little bit of dirt on everyone.

I'm more PO'd about him blaming a truck! What a jerk.

I drive NYC and the tri-state area everyday that particular company is known to have aggressive drivers who tailgate/speed and will cut u off on the drop of a dime! When I first saw this accident I had my own reservations that it was the drivers fault. Also there is a link out there saying how they got a dot Audit and were slapped with a few fines for having drivers who ran too many hours!

Ya one channel I watched reported the people on the bus saying that even before this accident the bus driver was swerving back and forth. He probably fell asleep and figured he'd blame a trucker and easily get out of a jam. Not gonna work though

Safety board investigators visited the crash site Sunday. Hart said skid marks indicate the World Wide Tours bus hit the guardrail on the right of Interstate 95 "at least three times" over the course of 480 feet before crashing into a sign post that sliced through the bus....(taken from article)...

And everybody is speeding through there - if you're doing the posted limit (50 mph) you really are a hazard. But the busses and 4-wheelers always go way too fast through there - you really have to be on top of things at 55 in those curves.
