I hate weekend too they constantly irritate me which is why I have my dispatchers cell.

As for bad idle policy they are actually one of the nicer idle policies. They give you 25% one of the companies my husband worked for was 10%. And no, they did not have apus.

its true, and it isnt rock solid strict,it depends on time at company and your specific circumstances..weather etc etc..

my idle tends to be above that 25% figure,im a team player though...i just like having heat, air conditioning and electricity.

even with all of the negative things ive said i rly wouldnt want to go to another otr company, its a good company..

safety issues, problems w/ employees...theyre trying to improve things and hopefully they do the right stuff.

We are still here trying to get back to texas to get hazmat for many reasons. But I keep getting the feeling we are on a sinking ship here. My intuition is usually right on. I'm getting a really good feeling that this company is not headed for calm waters.

That said so far everything seems similar to our last time except my dispatcher seems to be under sig. more stress. Our pay is the same, our truck is the same but a pos imho lol. Its now developed a random lights dont work thing, and has had 3 engine codes in the last 4 days and I've reported everyone. They don't take it real serious. I am convinced the whole truck is going to just go up in flames soon.

We've already decided we are going o/o we will be here until we get a whiff this company is going under, or until we save the cash to buy a truck which ever happens first.

I'm going to orientation next week, and was wondering if this is a good company to work for. If anyone has any insight on this company I would like to hear about it. Thanks, Be safe!

keep looking, company is a crap carrier. only reason I'm here is because i took a year off trying to get out of trucking and failed. so i called around and no one else returned my calls. but now i been here a painful 15months and now I'm looking to get the f--- out here. you'll spend more time on breakdown than running. they bought 200new truck but only the seniority drivers got them. the rest of the fleet(1100 trucks) is 05, 06 kenworths and freightliner columbia's. they don't fix the the trucks...they patch them up and send on it's way till the patch wears off then you limp it back to a service terminal for another patch. good news is they plan to have all the old 2005 2006 trucks out of the fleet by 2016(no lie it's their 5yr plan)

let me clue ya in...in all honesty, the trucking industry in general is very shady, this company isnt even close to bottom of the barrel. and at the same time this company is nowhere near top notch,i can vouch for that as well.

you COULD do worse. the problems that people have with this company arent worth denying, theyre problems that most of the companies in this industry have, whether thats now or at some point in the near past.

if you have a positive attitude, you can do well here...you should probably drink some of the company kool-aid if you join up as well...because,whats the point to being too negative? youre just going to screw yourself over,or stress yourself out.
