Hmm.... what's the odds your mother or father probably had a "bleeding heart" over something you've done in the past!? Ya think?
I'll surely agree with that 100%!
And what??.... Live a miserable existence holding a grudge and being angry the rest of your life over something that can't be changed or undone?? Now that's a productive outlook for anyone to to have!
Simply put.... that's some bulls - hit! Thank God that's just another narrow-minded opinion though! But it kinda makes me wonder just how much tragedy you've experienced in your life at the hands or actions of others whether intentional or not?
It's one thing to hold someone accountable for their actions..... Unfortunately, all too often so many other lives are directly affected by the actions of one. Again.... Holding a grudge solves nothing. But it surely amazes me how judgmental people can be! I just hope maybe someday I can grow up to be so saintly and perfect!![]()

I'm a two-time cancer survivor. My oldest son was given a terminal cancer diagnosis, but survived, thank God. I've lost many, many friends in military conflicts, and have 3 bullet wounds myself.
Both my parents are dead as of 2003, but thank you for making an inaccurate assumption.
In the "holding a grudge" comment, it has nothing to do with a miserable existence, and I certainly am not miserable - I have a great thing going on with my own business, never leaving an employer or friend in a bad way, and my wife and I operate a cancer charity that contributes all proceeds to children's cancer research.
I do, however, hold a grudge against a murderer or other radical criminal, since I feel the only being that can truly "forgive and forget" is God, and I'm not him. If you kill someone, I'm not going to allow you near my family, no matter how much time has passed.Giggles the Original Thanks this. -
What has all this got to do with your initial statement? Nothing! But I'm glad you survived along with your son!
What assumption would that be? I spoke in past tense regarding your parents! Re-read my post! Of course it's possible you may have been a perfect angel and never caused your parents any grief! My bad....
does this qualify me as one of those "bleeding heart" types?
Again.... not sure what this has to do with the conversation! Besides.... where and when did I imply you were miserable? Your perception of what statement, led you to that conclusion?! But it's great to hear you're successful and charitable also! Careful though, you might throw out that shoulder patting yourself on the back!
Like I stated earlier..... it's your opinion, and you're surely free to express it! But you clearly will stand in judgment of others without knowing all the facts and hold a "grudge"? Sorry.... I see that as a sanctimonious attitude! But that's my opinion!

Here's your link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42070669/ns/us_news-life/
Not hearsay. Truth. The driver lied about the truck, why should I feel pity for him? He has gone his whole life going against the rules. No log book. Lying trying to get someone else in trouble for his crime. He's had enough chances. Time for him to go away.
And its line 2 not three rollover.Rollover the Original, bullhaulerswife and tech10171968 Thank this. -
Yes, you implied I was miserable.. and I'm not -
"Live a miserable existence holding a grudge and being angry the rest of your life"
You just posted it, how could you forget so soon?
And my shoulder is fine, not thrown out at all, since this is the first mention I've made of being involved with my charity in 5-6 years - I don't do it for glory, and my name isn't even associated with the website... so you can put your "sanctimonious" comment in your pipe and smoke it.strat57 Thanks this. -
that's a very good point--one of the links throughout this post--is about that--I think it is one of NTSB quotes--that the casino provides a "lounge"for drivers--mentioned Tv and snacks but nothing about quiet sleeping arrangements?
-
Thanks Iroc. Hit wrong key for the sleeper berth but the news story link is interesting!
He dropped off a "load" at about 11pm? I wonder what time he woke up that day?
Now his "history" is coming out and he's just a 'tad' bit more of a problem child than those 2 felonies. I remove all I said about him "trying" with having a job. He apparently is just living in those out of bound sidelines with half of his life. Save the state the money and just throw his arse off the Verrazano and be sure the lead life jacket is tied in grannie knots! -
Jesus.... Your reading comprehension and chronological perception are lacking!
You commented in post #55 stating "other people should hold a grudge"! Were you intending to include yourself with that group of the "other people" you mentioned at that point?
Otherwise, you didn't state you held a grudge until post #62! Yep.... after I responded in post #61! Get your chronology and facts about my statements correct please! It looks lame when you try to respond and redirect if you can't recall when and what post you're responding to.
Again.... just how do you construe my initial response being aimed at you? Come on, seriously, get a grip here! Besides, if you're going to make blanket statements like that what do you expect? People to just agree with your narrow close-minded opinion?
Another great example was this gem....
Are you referring to the bus driver? Did you do a psychological assessment on him? Or, is this just another blanket statement based on your "years of widespread experience" too?
As far as who you are or when you "toot your own horn" I could care less! And again, it had nothing to do with the conversation until your post #62 when you started in with all the rather narcissistic "I, Me, My" garbage!
Oh.... I almost forgot.... I don't smoke! But sorry, the "sanctimonious" shoe seems to be fitting better than expected! I look forward to your next response.
Now back on topic....
Just exactly where in the article or video did it state he had no log book? I could have sworn it said they weren't up to date!
Heck, there's even threads on this site suggesting how to cheat logs or coloring books/comic books as there affectionately referred to. Let's not forget the members on here who've stated they're logs weren't current when pulled over!
Nothing new there.... kinda S.O.P. based on the responses I've read on here when they respond to "noob" questions about log books. Yet then some complain when E-logs are mentioned! Now that's a joke!
So let's keep the facts straight! Like Dieselbear said.... "Let the investigation conclude and then make your assessment." -
Hey, strat... perhaps some more life experience would help you understand what is outside your pretty little world. Have a nice day.

Please keep things civil in here. Personal attacks make a thread less useful to the rest of the community. Thank you for your cooperation!
