Who is a good carrier to work for out of California

the only hapy gardner driver is a newbie they do that to get you locked in then stick it to you been there with them not a good company in so many ways.

 

Born and raised about hour south of Missoula MT, moved to Norther CA a few years ago and fell in love with it there. Got a big bonus from startup log home company to quit the job I had currently worked at 6+years and relocate down there. As soon as I was in N. CA I knew I would never go home again.

Does Watkins and Shepard have much freight running in N. California between Sacramento and Redding? If they did depending on a few other factors might be perfect for me.

Do they run reefer? Reefers are great in summer, hauling frozen food on a remote desert road or highway. Tossed my sleeping bag on top of trailer and crashed for the night a few times, noting else like it. Nice and cool, see the stars hear the critters and feel very safe.

How much does a noob make at heyl there first week, second week, third week, normal pay No high wages or low wages. Just a reality ball park. Bonus fifty percent are met. After takes what are all you fellers makin?

Any strange or stringent rules? Where do you fuel at, Pilot T/A et. or is it mixed. Are company drivers held to a turn by turn routing like Sneider drivers, or are you allowed to take your own shortucts? Are there any penalties for going out of route to far, how far is to far? Do they have any runs threw Northern CA or Western MT? Are there DMs intelligent and easy to work with? Do they have APU's if not what is there idol policies?
