Oh, lots of hugs your way. I hate alley dock. I think this is how they weed out the "instinct" drivers from the "I'm gonna do this darn thing if it kills me" drivers. Obviously, we are the latter.
Truck number guy... er, Super-G, I can give you Joe's truck number for now?![]()

Had to have a tire replaced on the tractor last night in Sayerville. Crate and Barrel uses those bolt type seals and apparently someone cut one off and just left it laying in the parking lot where my tire found it.
Got up as soon as my 10 was over and got the h3ll outta Jersey! Sitting at a rest area in Thomasville, NC 5 hours from my delivery in Georgia! -

At Pilot in Williams, AZ...Delivery Monday morning, looks like a reset is inevitable...After that heading to Aurora, CO for 2nd/final stop...Got up at 4am the last 2 mornings to stay on EST time...Actually works out well, get my 11 and 600+ miles and a parking space with no problem stopping while it's still light out and early!

jersey sucks dont get me wrong, and i dont have an ez pass so do the math how much i hate it. but if you can get in there at night it helps a LOT. i still hate snow and ice more. ive just had way worse experiences in that stuff than in any city.
it was funny when i did nyc one of our other drivers was freaking out. he said he was too new, he had only been there 9 months. i was on my 3rd week...but it really could have been worse. it was bad dont get me wrong, but i was able to stay on the big roads so it was doable. the back was still by far the worst i have ever had to do, and i did 2 loads in and out of there. im going to assume we as otr guys dont do furniture loads in there otherwise i take that right back. pretty sure i couldnt handle that.
and keep in mind the only people who are dumb enough to drive in new york, are from new jersey. enough said.American-Trucker Thanks this. -
