Getting in wasn't that bad, managed to avoid the toll roads. When I got to my delivery I received my next load with directions from the terminal. (never been before) My gps couldn't route me to either place because of road restrictions. And the customer said I couldn't stay on the property to figure out how to get out of there and couldn't give me directions. So I left the same way I came in heading back towards Hamburg, PA. Finally found a place to pull over and think for a minute. Punched the p/u address in again and was able to get a route for my p/u and to the terminal.
Wasn't so lucky toll wise getting out, ending up on 2 of them, one in NJ then the tunnel in DE. 21 bucks so not too bad. I know we get reimbursed but it's the principle of it all. Ended up almost 80 miles OOR getting around NJ.

yeah totally, i either forget or am lazy. i have posted it before, but running in and out of nyc twice from sayreville cost me $340 in tolls, i absolutly #### you not haha. anywhere else really doesnt bother me after that i just keep a bit of cash on me. the nj turnpike aint bad you just stop for the ticket once not at every toll booth.
as for the kansas toll road when i was new i thought i could be cool and avoid tolls. i didnt realize how cheap the kansas turnpike was. same with west virginia, trying to avoid that is how i found my first 13% hill hahaha. and thats only 20.25.
so yeah live and learn. there is a setting to avoid tolls on the gps you need to shut off.truckerdaddy24 Thanks this. -

Braselton, GA at the Pilot...15 miles from delivery. Think they're open today so I could make an early delivery? Nope!
There's another W/S here, met him when he guided me into a blind side back. New guy, 2 weeks in. Has read the forum but hasn't posted. Has a truck with a lower number then mine!
