as for a soft case Im gonna to walmart and look in the womans cosmadic section. But I wan a case also. I havent taken the skin off the screen yet, waiting to get a case.

 

Like I said I am waiting to see what happens this week when they send me the replacement. I am hopeing it all works right. Time will tell.

 

Last night I finally had a chance to update my 500, took hours(I realize some of it was due to connection, but on the road I have to take what I can get) as there were 279 files...Is that amount normal or only because this was the first time?...I'm hoping it was the latter....How often should I do it?

i think any of you who went got the 500/700 in the past 30 days should really consider taking it back and upgrading to the 510/710, its something you wont regret!
i was gonna get my first 1 last year, but i wanted to wait, since RM was still kinda new in the gps department, im kinda glad i did!!!
using the rm for only 2 weeks now, and as a truck driver, feel as tho we were actually being " Heard " by someone to make makes things slightly easier for us out here, RM has gone the extra mile to hear what we want and think and need!, ( if only the rest of america would Hear us its be nice )
you cant compare the other units to this!...
i give this unit and product a perfect 10!!!!

I buy ipad screen protectors and cut them down to fit my 700. You can get two of them for the 700 out of each sheet.

 

What's the difference between 500 and 510?

 

Do these units have the Canadian oilfields LSD system? If not, what other GPS units are useful to oilfields drivers?

and now you have the 510 and the 710.
