I wonder if the T Mobile customers will see the same mess of reduced services and more restrictive contracts like when AT&T bought Cingular?
Roadmedic Thanks this. -
I used to have Cingular and loved their service until they were bought out by AT&T. Fast forward to the future where I currently have T-Mobile, and observe how history will repeat itself. I just can't get away from AT&T
. Hopefully if and when the acquisition does occur, current T-Mobile subscribers will be able to have the early termination fees waived if they wanted to drop their phone plans altogether.

I currently have t-mobile and the service is terrible! I get dropped calls even in the middle of the city and no service at all when my friends using version and sprint are still getting fine service. The internet service is also very slow. I really hope this merger helps improve things!
JimDriv3r and The Challenger Thank this. -
Good thing you are used to it. It will be no better.JimDriv3r Thanks this.

Nothing in the world quite like AT&T "customer service..."
Customer: "Hello, I'm having a problem with <insert your favorite problem here>, can you help me?"
AT&T: "Why?"
Customer: "Well, I'd like to get this fixed..."
AT&T: "So what - we could care less! You get what we give you, and you'd better like it!" CLICK!!!!
Those jerks used to send my final bill that I'd paid in full when I ended service with them to a collection service every couple of years. I finally spent some money with an attorney to send them notice that I intended to sue in order to get it to stop.JimDriv3r Thanks this. -
There's nothing more worse than having to give your personal information to the first customer service rep, and then get transferred to another customer service rep where you would have to give the same info all over again, and then get transferred to another customer service rep where you would have to give the same info all over again...

How many times must I give out my name, number, address, and the last four of my social security number during the course of a phone call to the customer service center just to address a simple issue? Next is the infamous "phone maze" game......

This will make it very difficult for Verizon to buy Sprint now...
