LOL. I hear ya on the meat and catfish. that wait is ridiculous. I cant think of any reason logical reason why they plan those type of loads like that. I can understand its fresh meat but at 28 degrees the time it wont start rotting in the trailer for a week so the 1 day or much less 2 hours you are late wont make a difference. You would need the reefer to be at 45-50 degrees then it will start rotting in a about 4 days.

I know, that was pretty funny though. when my FM told me we both laughed. It was because I was 45 minutes late to Walmart and they called Cargill to complain. Not to mention Cargill overloaded 3 cases to one receiver who couldnt accept overages. So I had to wait for someone from the local food bank to come get the 3 cases of ground beef. I KNOW it was Walmart because they were ######## at me when I was checking in and threatened to call Central. I told them to go ahead.

Stop moving it... let it go past... it will show red on their screen....
Go out and set it for right now... then when the time goes past... it shows red and they know you have been setting. If you keep changing it, it will show as if you just finished a load.Raincatcher Thanks this. -
Don't you get paid for dead head miles?

Where is this at?
Blind side backs, at night and no lights....
I think I may get out of driving and start a trailer repair business across the street.

Well thats cool. I will have to wait till friday and the details on what is what. I hope that it is only 2 weeks of classes then we go down to Fontana. I cant wait to get started already. And Todd, has Klyde called you back already? To say that you are hired? He has not called me yet but its still early. Hope he does. Anyways I hope that I learn how to drive a truck and do it well. I think that the only thing that I am worried about is the parking. I think i can handle everything else. Docking should be fine too but I think that parking next to another truck might be a little tough but I guess we will find out when it comes time for them to train me. The traveling part sounds cool though. Hell, even if for the first year i dont make a lot of money, just the whole out seeing the country would be awesome. The job sounds really really cool. I cant wait to start this already. LOL

Thanks,Klingon. That is exactly what roadrunner said when he called to re-train me...
got a load for Mira Loma within 15 minutes of his call. Learning something everyday...

Got a question for everyone;
How many of you, when you get to the Consignee do you have someone sign JUST for the seal being in tact. NOT for the load but just for the seal.
I was at King in Denver over night (15hrs) and they say they were 5 cases short.
OS&D said that because I didn't have anyone "SIGN" for the seal Iam going to have to pay of them.... -
klingon, I havnt, but I surely will from now on!
