I did not have a problem with my unemployment with Stevens, but Prime refused me because I had more than 5 months unemployment in a 3 year period. Well I was a carpenter and we have employement issues in Michigan!! Go figure! Thanks to Stevens for giving me a chance!
Yes Stevens is a training company and are known for there training. Have had many other companys tell me that you get 2 years with Stevens and you can do well going to other places. If you choose. Yes I wish the pay was more but I am happy to just have a job!!!

 

Thank you for that info. If you look at the alerts for FFE its not the companies fault that drivers are out of shape and driving illegal I would think that is the drivers fault, as always. I didn't see any alerts that the company would be responsiable for. Drivers just need to run legal and take care of them selves.

 

The alert for driver fitness has nothing to do with the physical fitness of the driver...
It has everything to do with the company doing their due diligence in background checks, training, and qualifications.
You have no idea what CSA is even about.
And the company is responsible to make sure the drivers are running legal.

 

This is a false statement!!! Thats like say when your kid gets in trouble at school that the parents are not responsible! Come on man!!! The company has to make sure the drivers are driving within the limits, other wise they continue to cheat like in the past with paper logs. But you are welcome to have an opinion. Keep up with the highly trained poorly paid mindset! A big major difference is a kid in school is a minor and a parent is responsible for said minor. A adult is responsible for his actions alone. If I choose to run illegal its of MY own doing. If I choose not to its also of MY own doing.

 

and it is the companies fault for allowing you to run illegal. and the company knows when you are running illegal, they just choose to look the other way, and pray they don't get caught. chances of that under the old manual reviews, slim to none, now with computers checking the data every month, companies are not going to slip threw the cracks as much.

 

I worked for these guys, they wanted me to run illegal. You will not get get home every three weeks either, If you have a family emergency they will leave you stranded. I discourage anyone from workin for these guys

They also tell you 3 to 5 weeks for home time, expect 5 weeks.
Your choice to run illegal...
3 years, and not once have I even been asked.
They either repower, or reschedule the load.
