Did She claim injury at the scene? If not then how is anyone to know she was injured in a accident and not at work or home.

She could of been a scammer. They had that on 20/20 one time. How does one get injured in a simple roll back anyways? What 1-2 mph? My neck, oh, my neck!

I did not know police officers could download codes from any truck with an ECM. Is that really how it is in all lower 48 states? You mean to say every police officer investigating an accident has a laptop with specific software that can interpret any make and model of class 8 truck codes stored in the truck's ECM?

Just curious... have never heard of what you generally described above. Can you explain please?

Yes, Really. You admitted fault. We are told in the event of an accident never admit or talk about fault! :biggrin_25510:

Yup... nailed it. The only thing I would say is, "my foot was firmly depressing the brake while stopped and my truck did not move." Period. For something like this, the cop just wants to close the file so he can move on to bigger and better things and the OP just handed it to him on a silver platter.

Let's put it this way, I AGREE WITH THE PROFFESIONAL SCAMMER THEORY. I was not necessary looking at the road at the time but was infact stopped. I tried to do the right thing and be honest...when this B$%#H was not. As soon as I felt the trailer move, I checked the mirrors saw nothing, I pulled my Pbrake..got out and saw the (sorry to say it this way) 25 year old black lady...screaming at me that I rolled back into her...At the same time all within 3 minutes she had called an ambulance first, the police second, and her family 3rd. When this happened I went to my truck for my cell to take pictures of the retarded scene, and took a picture of her with her sleeping 2 year old child who was still asleep in her lap while she made these calls. She FLIPPED OUT! Then 2 Ambulances, 1 fire truck, 2 EMS units, 1 officer and 2 vehicles with 3 of her family members arrive. I was just being honest when I told the officer I did not know, but she said, I rolled! Both of us refused care from Medics at the scene...So was she hurt or scamming? But you can figure it out...people like this I want to take my tire thumper and give her a reason to leave in the ambulance:biggrin_25524: So the officer did an exchange of information form, no tickets, and I left, watching her the officer and her family on the side of the road...the next day she called my company and was disabled and un-able to work anymore...grrrrrr!
Wanna know the funniest thing about the whole incident??

It was bike week in FL...I hear laughing behind me as I am giving the officer my inforamtion and I turn to traffic that is awaiting a light. There is girl on the back of a bike, and she mouths to me " I LOVE YOUR SHIRT:biggrin_25519:" OOh crap I think...where was the camera at this point??? I have on a "Carhauler shirt" That says "NO OFFICER I AM NOT HIGH" Boy that would have been a 10K winner on America's Funnisest home videos:biggrin_2559:
