So if the courts have determined that the information must be made public, then these apps are just communicating that already accessible information. So as much as I disagree with the ability for drunks to avoid DUI checkpoints, I think the Senators attempt to limit the distribution of public information is worse, remembering the Prez O wants to be able to turn off the internet when he feels it is an emergency.

Besides, they can, will and do change the location of the check points anyway, same as the 'speed traps' that get set up.

Ah, but if they change the location they still have to say so or there goes their court case. I would want an app like this just to avoid the hassle.
Speed traps have a separate set of rules to make them legal. Even if a lot of them violate those rules.JimDriv3r Thanks this. -
