what determines if a truck accident is reportable to your DMV record or non-reportable recorded on your DMV record?
I heard that if the accident has no tickets and no towing was involved it is a non reportable. Is this correct?

Another determining factor is whether either party involved received medical care--even if a person were to receive treatment for an injury days after the fact, if it is attributed to the accident it will now be considered "DOT reportable".
