Where can I purchase an RFX75 for my 29 at a decent price with good turn around time. I want what I want when I want it!:biggrin_25525:
    Thanks!

If your on the road a shop at a truckstop may be the fastest but will cost more. You can order them for as low as 30.00 on ebay and some other electronic places but I think most are charging anywhere from 70 to 100 to install it and retune the radio. Custom CB repair your looking at a 2 day turnaround but shipping time will set you back another4 to 6 days total.

Thanks usmc. I'm not on the road and I'm looking to tinker with it myself. Would rather not do the ebay thing and buy from a cb shop. Was going to do sparkys but after 2 days of trying to join his forum and waiting for admin approval I'm not sure he's the guy.
I heard he's a reputable tech and all but as a former forum mod for a huge gaming software developer if you're going to do such things as admin approval to simply join a forum you should have people manning that a little more regularly.
Just my humble opinion of course.
Ah well...there are other shops out there looking to make a sale.

You may look into H&Yelectronics where I got my kl203 amp from. They have it the in the add they sent with the amp for like 30.00. I couldn't find it on the website but I know they sell them.

    deerslayer1143 Thanks this.

Well I couldn't seem to find them there. Maybe I'm blind.lol
Another question i have thought of is this... Would it be simpler to just replace the finals with mosfets rather than do the rfx75? I'm not looking to get the most watts I can out of my radio. A respectable bump to even say 35-40 watts would be sufficient.

Hey deerslayer1143. A little insider infor for you. For the next couple of weeks, most places are going to be out of stock. EKL is making some RFX-75's right now, but are not projected to be out to the suppliers until the middle of this month (that is the word from one of my suppliers).

I just sold one on eBay that ended yesterday and it went for $65. I have one on there right now that the bid is at $55.

I can not advertise on here yet, until I become a sponsor, and I am waiting for admin to email me back, so I will have to leave it at that. I do not want to break the rules and get kicked off the forum.

Oh thanks but I've already had my 29 with the RFX75 for a month now and have another RFX75 sitting around here somewhere. Thinking of throwing it in a Uniden PC68xl I have and selling it.
