Hay all I went to work for Priority Trucking. Let me tell you that you do not want to drive for them. I was there for only two weeks and most of the time I was in the shop getting things fixed on my tractor and the trailers I pulled. The bad part of it was the they only fix it halve-### Just to get me rolling. Then I would be broke down some where on the road.
My fist check was also *$*$ up. Or should I say they forgot to pay me. They told me that they would give it on my next pay check. I told them to kiss my
. On the second week I was still needing my truck to be fixed every time I went by the shop. Then when my next pay day came around I was still short. That when I turnd in my truck and just walked away. Thats the short short story about Priority.
If you are thinking about going to work for them just to let you know the have the Highst turn over rate.
I hope this warns you all.

With their trucks breaking down as much as they do there, you have to wonder what exactly is the priority at Priority. I've seen worse companies, though. I once went to pick up a friend/roommate who threw up his hands and quit at the Utah/Wyoming POE back in '98. The truck had a broken windshield, bald tires, and the wagon didn't even have a registration. Guess where the truck was heading? California. And no, my friend didn't get paid on that last run that led up to his leaving it at the POE.
What about his other runs at that outfit? Can you say "broke down broke down broke down broke down" tens times fast? That's what it was like there. -
Then why don't the DOT eat em up?
-
For my story, this happened about 9 years ago. By now the DOT has eaten their behinds, but this assumes they're still in business. I'm sure they're not, though. This was a reefer hauling outfit that expected their drivers go 75 and 80 no matter where they were. It's no wonder their trucks were worn down to the nub and broke down all the time. I imagine their drivers were worn down and had problems moving, too.

I just felt like bringing a four year old thread back to life.It seems like something that happens a lot on this forum and I wanted in on all the action. That is all.
