    Call recruiting they will tell you straight up, I would think they would have you drive your POV in and you can do as you pleased from there?? I don't know just a thought, You would be doing a bunch of LTL furniture and of course carpet out of Dalton at least on your first trip out from hometime!!. Give them a call they will tell you right away or just put in an application and they will review it and let you know. Take Care. TD24

    no that is not to far away, usually they want 120 miles and your just over that so I'm 99% sure you'll be fine......They wont let us take the trucks home anyway so your the one thats going to pay for the 15 miles anyway lol

    Thank you both ill give them a call in the AM thought they would have emailed me but they didn't. So ill give them a ring in the AM might have to take a refresher tho i haven't drove since i got out of school in AUG. 2010

    Owen, if you live near a major city they will hire you. *if you live near a major city and do have a Safe place to park, then you are able to take the truck home with you, even if you live 300 miles away from a terminal..
    tho, living 130+/- youll be fine.
    as for the refreasher course, yes, you will need to take one, that no doubt, and they will bus you out to Conover NC for oreintation.

    when I inquiered with them a few months back they told me I'd have to live withing a 150 miles of a terminal.

    They told me I am fine just need to go back to this other school for a refresher course... Because my school I went to is not on there list they hire from. So i got to call the school Monday and find out the cost of the refresher course and how long it is but I got a Question. Will i get a oreintation date before I go to school? I dont really wanna waste money on the school then they dont take me on.
