I have searched around but haven't seen another. I don't have wia money yet but did get an OJT voucher today from Career link here in Pa.
I'm hoping that can help my cause.

I am going with Swift. You have to give em 13 months but I know several people that love working for em.

Thanks Rot the apprentice program is a little different no months.
You work at the docks etc. -
That is how most UPS drivers start as well. Work the docks or holidays part time. And eventually move into a truck. Takes time but the pay in the long run is well worth it.
You can drive OTR for 4 years making 30-50 a year. Or do maybe a year on a dock and then start driving at 40. And go up fast from there.
I am just a little old now to work docks for a year or more if needed. And been driving too long to do it now.
But if you are younger it is a great way to come into the field. You will learn more about logistics in a few years that way than many drivers do in a decade.jjack and jakebrake12 Thank this. -
Thanks Dome I'm actually 48 but a little work isn't a problem. I came from homebuilding I can frame or raise barns all day still.
I will look into UPS also.
Totally old school thanks again. -
Check out UPS and UPS Freight in your area man..
IMO those are the two best jobs on the road..
