I'm happy to hear it's reopened. The nicest thing about that place is it's proximity to downtown. It's a quick and cheap cab ride over the bridge and you land smack in the middle of some of the best nightlife in the country. You might even find an idle cab in the parking lot on the restaurant side so check that before you call.

It's actually close enough that you might be tempted to walk. In daylight I'd say you're probably OK but I wouldn't even think about it at night.

Did they reinstall the pay to park thing and/or take out all the idleaire crap? This is one of a very few truck stops I would consider paying to stay at.

 

I have never been there. So I don't know what their parking situation is. I've just seen the signs protruding above the trees when I drive by.

Sure it was a racist remark......why even mention there color? What does there color have to do with there attitude? A person with a bad attitude is a person with a bad attitiude. FYI I was in there last week and was treated great and had great service.

I'm not just 1/4 black......I also own a Black truck, AND 2 Color TV's!!!!!!

That Pilot is a major cluster-f if you have a choice stay at the TA. And dont pay for a cab to gt to downtown. Its a shorter walk than it looks and the cab rides are higher than they should be and if you have any street smarts at all you wont get in trouble on the way there or back.
