Easy there big fella rookies just askin questions. HAHA.
-
If you go across I-80 the only tolls will be in OH, IN, IL. In PA and NJ it isn't a toll road. Now once you get to the NJ turn pike it will start costing you money again. Where are you going in NY?
BTW, I-80 is the best way to go. -
well then "rookies" ought to have an atlas....?? maybe perhaps ask one of their co-workers, maybe perhaps get routing from the company...??
if a "rookie" cannot get directions from THOSE sources are we to be their GPS/atlas....???
what was the "rookie" doing during any training he was going through with his trainer..?? didn't the trainer advise him to GET AN ATLAS...????
didn't the trainer explain how to get directions from the Qualcomm...???
sounds to me like that "rookie" failed miserably in learning when he HAD the chance...???
also, if the rookie is using a laptop from his truck, couldn't he "google" or mapquest his route..??? i do believe rand mcnally also has a website for directions...??? -
My atlas doesn't give the toll rate. He is asking for the best route considering tolls. You really don't have to respond to him, since it is such a burden helping out a fellow drive, noob or not.
-
you really NEED to check my post count over yours then stop and think how much I DO HELP people......but when someone asks "how to get to" and doesn't even look at the options they had, like an atlas, or Qualcomm, or his driver-trainer, then NOT EVEN KNOW HE NEEDS MONEY for the truck, tells me THAT NOOB is doomed from the start..
are we to hold thier hands each and every time..??
the "prudent or PROFESSIONAL DRIVER" would have truck money, and atlas, and GO.......if one does not have the needed things for the road, then perhaps the road isn't for them...???
and by the way, I WILL RESPOND as i see.......don't like it...?? do not read it..... -
I posted this on the other thread you started. But I'll post it here in case it helps you.
This route might be already posted? I used Microsoft Streets & Trips & set it up to use less toll & more interstates & other roads. If I was actually driving this route, I would look at it in more detail. But this gives you a general idea. Hope this helps..
I don't think there is a toll road on here.
