My Experiance with Watkins Shepard!

I want to as there is a J, TA, Loves, Hess there so parking should not be an issue but its 45 the opposite way of the terminal....

Where as if I go north to the pilot/ta I will most likely have to "make" a spot for tonight but will be about halfway between ATL and the terminal.....


I dont want to go in the opposite direction of my next load....but i dont know where that might be lol

Had I known that pilot was going to be a ghost town I would have stoled and taken more and do a video lol

Well they finally got me unloaded, what a Messed up place. Now I did like that it was 100 yards from a Pilot but it was in the ghetto. There was a guy walking around the TS with a cardboard box full of weed,coke,pills and who knows what else, and he was going around yelling about it like he was trying to sell cracker jacks at a baseball game!

Anyway so when you get to this place you pull up to the guard shack and they tell you how to drive through the plant and back out and to park on the street and walk back to the guard shack......

So I do and then first thing they ask is for my ID, so I asked wanna know how old I am? and they all started laughing and said yes

So after filling out a bunch of paper work, they told me to back into door 31 but they couldnt tell me where 31 was like at least what building.....so I find it but theres a trailer in the door....so I ask some that works there and he says to ask a yard driver. So I did and was told to just put it in 30. easy enough almost a straight line back into the whole which was good being that the doors are so close together that the trailers are all 9 inches apart!

Anyway so I go in to the office and theres this....how do I say this politcaly correctly.....Transvestite working in there..... I almost couldnt keep from laughing. Anyway so he/she says the lumper fee is $55 and you have 30 minutes to pay it.....So I call the broker no answer, leave a message, and call on call dispatch...no answer BIG SURPRISE! , call the shop no answer, call the head dispach guy at home....no answer.....call the head shop guy at home and got a TCheck.

The broker tried to call while I was on the phone with him so I just ignored her, she'll find out I was unloaded at some point.....just not from me....

I cannot stand stupid brokers....Step 1 answer for ####ing phone! Step 2 KNOW how to contact the ####ing customers! She didnt even have their phone number....I had to google them to get it!


Anyway so after I unloaded I attempted to go back to the pilot in the ghetto..but no parking so I headed south on 75 to the TA here in Jackson, GA, since its only 40 miles where if I had gone north it would have been 70 miles. So anyway i get there no parking! well there was one spot but the O/O next to it cant park he was a foot into the spot and no he wasnt oversize . So I tried the Loves next door...no luck...so I went across the street to the J and parked.


Then this morning I took my free shower at the J and moved over to this TA. Idle air wants $1.25/hr. not one truck here is useing it


OH and for all of you that have seen and asked why I have a safty vest in my truck....if you ever deliver to that place, you BETTER have one! or they will NOT let you in! and i did see 2 other W/S trucks their so im guessing we deliver their allot....
