    I have been both a company driver and leased operator for Kunkel Truck Lines Inc and let me tell you the real story. These guys are without a doubt one of the BEST companies you could work for. There dispatchers are very easy to work for and understand what its like on the road(dispatchers have 20+ years on the road).If you like to run the midwest states,Texas,California,or Phoenix(THEY HAVE DROP TRAILERS THERE) and wantt to maximize your miles and revenue,this is the copany to work for.I dont think i will ever need another job, will be with them till i retire.

    I get a bit worried when I google search a company, "Kunkel Truck Lines Inc" and no own website appears, no actual company web site that I can find just that they are in SD on other linked sites. I would like to see more info on them.

    I guess i need to explain more. This is a small company(under 50 trucks) and they have no web site. Just call and get the details,then make your own decision.The owners plan is always the same,he will not put on any more trucks than he has freight. I have heard him say many times.I will not put on one truck to slow down 2.

    I worked for Kunkel, when I quit it took me 3 weeks to get my check. I had to threaten to go to the labor board. I hear they does this to every one!

    Sounds like the owner to me to. I worked for them from Oct to Dec 2013.
    It's March 25 2014 and they still owe me. My first truck payment was late because of late payroll. 3 4 weeks late to some drivers. and I know 3 other drivers he still owes. you can contact me xxxxxxxxxxxxxx I know three other drivers that will tell you the same. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
