    Then of course we could expand the scenario a bit--and show how the average carrier already expects their driver to do all this and deliver in say Ohio--the next morning--and justifies it by showing how the entire route was only 525miles--so even when logging 5mph under the legal speed limit--there is still less than 11 hours driving time--leaving 3-3.75 hours to load-unload and eat--just like all those mega trucking execs told you at the last circle-jerk hearings you held in Washington--where you announced all parties concerned--federal agencies and the trucking industry are working together--to improve highway safety while keping America's econmomy moving forward!

    I saw CNN yesterday. They reported that our roads are safer now than they have been since 2005. It sort of shoots the idea of the EOBR's and shorter hos will make roads safer or that there is actually a need to shorten them. I believe that is 2005 we had shorter hours?

    I think that anyone that is involved with the industry should get a good dose of what drivers have to deal with on a daily basis. I also don't think that a few days or a week is long enough to get a true taste of it.
