sometimes......thats the problem its not consistant its always changeing. Like for instance I used to eat eggs all the time when I was little. Then all of a sudden one day they started makeing me sick...and did for like 7 years then magicly they no longer bother my stomach. I just eat what doesnt piss it off until it does then I dont eat it anymore lol. Simple really but it does suck living on the road with a list of things that may or may not piss my stomach off :biggrin_2559:

Keep the fridge stocked with food you know your system can tolerate, and be careful about what you buy at a TS until you get it sorted out.

If you can hack it, vegetable juices (like V8) can hold you over quite well. You just need to add a protein supplement to go with it.

I'll check to see if you're around in the morning.

AT and I had a chance to visit this morning before he headed out. Good thing I happen to live 15 minutes from where he was parked or that would have never come to pass.

He received a dispatch for a load as I was en route. The visit was very short, but well worth it.

    Long update today...

So this morning I got to meet Wedge! While he was on his way I got a Call from dispatch telling me she had sent me a load but didnt think my QC was receiving....Aparently the load I'm on was suposed to be picked up yesterday by another W/S driver.....But that driver oviously doesnt like being employed as a Truck Driver because not only did they quit, but they didnt call ANYONE to let them know about the load, including the very pissed broker lol

So anyway I moved my truck and wala a load! :biggrin_2559:

Unfortuneatly it is another small run 390 miles....AND with 2 stops! lol

But luckily it was the same shipper I had picked up at before and done a stop load for them last time. East Stuff only 2 stops 10 minutes apart (according to the broker) deliver anytime between 8am and 3pm and they both NEED it ASAP so they suposedily wont hold me up on the dock....we'll see.

Anyway so I was told I had to be at the shipper by noon. So I got to hang out with wedge for i donno 15-20 minutes or so. And had to haul butt to get their only to be screwed by them! :yes2557:

I get there at 11:30am....they are all at lunch.....I need to explain. They have the HUGE table maybe 4 feet across but 50 feet long out in the warehouse right infront of a open dock door and there all eating together....WTF!

So meanwhile myself and the 2 other drivers that came in after me got to sit and talk for 45 minutes while they finished eating......

Then I backed in and was loaded pretty quick. And didnt even scale it since its so light not sure how much it weighs but with my tandems almost all the way back my suspension gauge is only showing 40PSI so maybe 20,000lbs. I donno but no need to waste $9.50 of W/S money when I know im way under gross and axle since I can easily scale 47,000lbs in my truck.

Anyway wedge had told me about this big storm comeing through and I thought I was going to run straight into it.....well I did kinda sorta. I ran straight into it as it was going northeast as i was going north west.

It started out 65* and sunny, then the sky turned gray, then BLACK, then started to drizzle, then rain, then HAIL, then heavy rain with thunder and lightning, then just rain, then drizzle, then 60* and sunny. So I donno how big this storm was but I do know that none of the street lights are working in memphis which is why I am safely parked at the J in Olive Branch, MS instead of the pilot or loves in memphis. I was told by quite a few on the CB memphis was a parking lot! so I figured I'll just do the 30 minute drive in the morning and save my log book and my sanity.

So 1 stop in memphis and then the last in Bartlett next town over....then hopfully a nice long run away from furniture and bad weather!:biggrin_2559:

Then I got do to my first good deed as a truck driver today! (aside from blowing my horn for little kids and old ladies)

I parked, one shot no problem with an easy out in the morning. Then this USX truck pulls in and instead of like my parking next to a truck he deceides to park in the middle spot of 15 open spots..Ok no big deal should be easy right?.......:biggrin_25512:not so much for this guy who BTW is driving a BRAND NEW KW T660....:biggrin_25511:

Anyway so he noses into the spot kinda and then cranks hard to his left (the spot was on the passenger side) and spins the whole truck and trailer around. I'll give him credit the trailer ended up perfectly centered nice and straight in front of the spot he wanted.....BUT his tractor was almost hitting the trailer. I thought for sure he was going to hit it when he spun around that fast and tight.

So he tried to back in like that, which oviously didnt work so he gave up and nosed into a spot right in front of me.....

Well if he cant back into 1 of 15 open spots HOW in the world is he going to back out of a PACKED TS in the morning without hitting me! or someone else....

So As I was about to get out to go see if he wanted help backing into a spot he deceided to do that on his own...BAD IDEA I could see that real quick, so I turned my CB on and talked him into the spot, perfectly he didnt need any pull ups and is straight and centerd in his spot! (blind side ofset back):yes2557:

This is exactly what that guy did for me when i first started out at the TA in Troutville, VA.

Anyway so then after he backed in he waved and thanked me.

Wedge and AT how great you guys got to meet!! Wish I could been there too......
Someday I will get to meet some of you guys I have been talking to for months!

AT-gastroenterologist is the word you for looking for (stomach Md)
Have you tried lactose tablets? You generally have to take foods away and slowly reintroduce them to see what or if they are affecting you. Do you take something for acid like Prilosec or Zantac? Just curious if you have acid reflux. Good luck with the Md.

    Wedge Thanks this.
