I'd heard that they'd sent out 50,000 warning letters - but there's something like 300,000 carriers that don't have enough inspections to be rated. So...
Its going to be a moving target for some time to come. Get warning letter, give 'em some time to have a "come to Jesus moment," then go lower the boom - if necessary.wildbill123 Thanks this. -
My company has a 51, I was wondering what would happen to another company I know of. Thanks

Is there any way to get my personal score?

As in how many CSA points you have? Just go to the CSA2010 website and poke around until you get the list of infractions and add up the points.
If you're thinking about your PSP report, same website but you either have to cough-up $10 (the quick way) or put in a Freedom of Information Act request (the slow way, but free.)CBtalker205 and wildbill123 Thank this. -
I really hope the regulators put some serious effort into this. The carrier I was previously leased to does this. The iteration I was leased to had its authority revoked again (third or fourth time?) in late 2010 for non-payment of fines. They had already started another company using the same name but domiciled in a different jurisdiction. Their current scores are none too healthy though (Unsafe Driving 38.5%, Fatigued Driving 91.1%, Vehicle Maintenance 78.9%), so I expect they will have to start up another one soon.
The only way to know beforehand is to do a thorough search on company principals, but even that isn't fool-proof. Serious financial penalties after-the-fact may have some impact.wildbill123 Thanks this. -
I guess m hubby's company is doing okay? They are listed at 7%??
wildbill123 Thanks this. -
Yup... but it's a moving target - that can change by the month!

If you have been with your company more than 2 years they might give you your score(the reporting area was the past 2 years) so you never knowCBtalker205 and wildbill123 Thank this.

You said a mouthful--the unfortunate thing about this new system is it only takes one or two bad apples--a company can do anything they want--but couple of inconsiderate types--can really throw a monkey wrench into it--since it all has to do with %--and a smaller carrier especially--with less inspections--and one or two bad ones can be in trouble in a hurry--wildbill123 Thanks this.
