My buddy is looking into Forward Air, has anyone ever pulled for this company? Quality Equipment sales leases the trucks but I guess they have a few different carriers that are approved thourgh them that you can work for. I looked over qualitys website and it didnt seem to bad. Just seeing if anybody has any experience with either of these places.

I looked at Quality last October/November when I was starting down the process of buying a trucking and figuring out financing. This falls under the classification of L/P even though it can look like a traditional finance deal.

Never got far enough into it with them when I started seeing equipment prices but you may be limited to the ability to switch carriers.

And if that is an issue. Don't count on the fact that they have options today that they will have those same, if any, options when you are unhappy and want to switch.

Kinda like the Crete deal. They push hard that it is not an L/P for all those L/P haters but it is the same thing just with a pretty bow.

I worked for FAF for one year and it was on the best companies i ever worked. I was pulling their trailers with my truck, drop n hook all the time. 0.93 cpm loaded or empty + FSC, terminal to terminal. But u have to drive at night pretty much all the time and u get used to it. One thing that i didnt like since i have a family and live on west coast is when u go to midwest or eastcoast u dont know when u come back, 2-3-4 weeks. 33 max days for me:biggrin_25520:

Its a good money but family is more important, plus now they have E-logs.

If u live on midwest ull be pretty busy over there and will run more at daytime.
