Bumpiest and worst road ever!

got y'all beat i haul trash and demo in the north east 100,000lbs all day long and i have to say I-495 is the worst especially on the northshore of MA theres a few bridges that will knock ur teeth out one bridge was so bad a few weeks ago that REBAR was actually sticking up in the travel lanes!!!! then another time some one had the bright idea to shave off 4 inches of asphalt under a bridge the width of the bridge and not put any black top to ease up the transition and of course no signs to warn you I hit it at 70 at night and thought the truck went off a cliff it was insane

I can agree with AR and PA and CA however the worse I ever was on in the late 90's had to be the Dan Ryan I-94 in Chicago. Was driving a FLD Condo we all know how High that celing was in those things right for Millis pulling a Load of Miller Beer. in Bottles going to South Bend IN. Well hit a bump on the Ryan slammed my head on the Roof of the Condo. I had pallets break and next thing I know is when I stopped I had beer all over the freaking place. Needless to say Disptach was not happy with me however what could I have done stop in Rush hour to avoid a Bump in the Locals on the Ryan. I think not.

 

My latest nomination is I-270 in Denver. For an interstate it's not very long, so they have all the bad features crammed into a short stretch! Holes, Heaves and whoop de doo! You don't want to go over the 55mph limit, just so you can stay in your seat. I bet somebody with a Lowrider car could put on a sparks show along here.

 

Alcan Highway between Hynes Junction and Tok. They give you three signs. A flag means "small" bump. That means that you want to go around 45 mph. A cone means "medium" bump. No faster than 30 mph. A sign that says "slow bump" means that you want to get as slow as you can in the space you can. Had a windsheild crack from a "bump" on that road. Never saw a road that bad before. It wasn't bad pavement, it was frost heaves. Never saw scenery like that before so it made up for the cruddy road.

Northbound 880 in Oakland, CA maybe 3 or 4 miles south of the MacArthur Maze. Speed limit drops to 45 and even that may be too fast. When I drove a short wheelbase Century Class, I used to take all my stuff out of the overhead storage and throw it in the sleeper before I'd travel that stretch otherwise I'd get hit in the head with whatever was up there. Eastbound 80 over Donner still has some real nasty stretches of rubble they ain't got to yet.

 

880 in Oakland sucks, but CA99 for as long as it is kills me. I80 over Donner was the worst untill they fixed it, still has bad spots.
