I think TMC is a great place to start. Be sure you have read ALL the links on their website to be sure you have no issues if and when you get to orientation, especially any medical issues. Despite what you read on some threads here, they do not go to the trouble and expense to get you to Des Moines, just to send you home. Be aware that they do a thorough background check while you are in orientation and will send you home quickly if anything is found. The company is VERY structured, so if you don't like tight mngmnt., you won't like TMC. You must also realize that your entire time during orientation, you are being assessed by just about everyone you come in contact with and any attitude seen they don't like will get you a ticket home. Everything you are exposed to while there has a purpose. The trucks are goverened at 60mph., but a lot of companys are doing that now and you look good while doing it at TMC. I found them to not be very personable, but I also found them to do exactly what they say, very straight up. Hope this helps and let us know how it works out for you. Any more questions, just post them here.Ignatius and HyperDrive Thank this. -

Let me suggest you use the search function regarding TMC. There's tons and tons of threads about them and many are recent. A lot of people won't respond to the same 'ol requests about this company or that.

Like Gears said, there is a wealth of info. about TMC already posted right here, on this forum, in the older posts . I urge you to look back through them; you'll learn much about TMC. In his post above, goldwinger made a very good & accurate reply to your original post. I agree w/everything he said.
If you have any specific questions, post them here, and I will do my best to answer, or someone else may do the same.
I was with TMC for over 2 yrs., and have been gone for about 6 months, (hoping to find a local gig). If/when the need arises, I would consider going back to them. I was treated fairly while there.
Good luck to you,Last edited: Apr 9, 2011

You are correct. They say they are set at 62, but actual number seems to be 60 and this coincides with what gps says. A classic example of the speed was when I got my doors blown off around Atlanta GA. by a TROLLEY bus. That was just wrong.Sapper Daddy87 and Ignatius Thank this. -
I've heard that TMC mostly runs the eastern half of the united states (I-35 east?) Is that correct ?? and doesn't that mean that they never go to western half of the USA? Just curious...any info would be much appreciated.
