    LOL

About a month ago over the pass in Wyoming it was 80 MPH winds. We were at 78,000 gross and it scared the crap out of me. Saw two trucks blow over and they closed the pass behind me.

I'm headed across Wyoming tomorrow on 80....left Minneapolis for Billings, MT....picked up a load in Dilon and now I'm headed for Lousianna...load is due in on Tuesday and I'll be doing another 34 probably in OK or TX....have 25hr left on my 70.

I was routed up and over the mtns on the 189/191 but the weather was going to turn bad tonight so I asked if I could run 15 down to Salt Lake City and catch the 80 there.....actually took the 84 at Ogden and now I'm sitting at a rest area just on the 80, about 30 miles from Wyoming.....got here with 9 minutes to spare.

That sounds like a good run. In my opinion the run across Wyoming is very bleak. One jack knifed on the exit ramp of the flying j in Rawlins. The "little america" truckstop used to be a nice place....don't know if it still is. Truck stops in general are not as nice as they used to be.

I saw the sign for Little America, but I think it was east of Cheyenne which is where I turned south.

I made it all the way to the very small Visitor's Center just inside Kansas....10hr 50 mn...658 miles....thank goodness my day is over...LOL

Craig.....that is one busy stretch of road thru there....and they all drive waaay to o fast....LOL

I am now sitting in Ardmore, OK for the next 34+ hours. Running out of hrs again, don't deliver until Tuesday morning in Louisianna, so I'm taking advantage of it and will go down on Monday. Was hoping to make it to Irving, but no go.
