It's a real cluster f@#% in that yard right now but it will get organized and paved as well. As far as shortages go, I've had a couple. Send it in to claims, no problem.

a lot of drivers and others are not at jbs no more.

Yes you have got to take care of it before you leave the receiver, sometimes or most times it is impossible for the driver to count the freight, but make sure that there is a seal on the trailer.

I have one week `of school left at Keensburg,CO I'm pretty sure im going with JBS, I see there trucks alot in fact one of there cattle trucks gave me enough room too turn. most of the students here are going to Stevens and i have yet to see more than one of there trucks up here in Colorado. The only other trucking company that im thinking about putting in a application in is May trucking "they pay for schooling" they all seem like they have smokin Mirors. One guy was sayin on this site that JBS only gave him 1500-1600 miles. I told this to my instructor and he said that guy was probably turning down alot of loads and #####in alot. I know when i start "most likely JBS" i will not turn down loads and try my best to be on time and keep a good attitude.

It's been a while since I posted on here. I'm still with JBS. My miles have steadily improved since I have been here. Although I think my miles are steady because I'm staying out here for six weeks at a time.
Did almost 6000 miles this past pay period. There was alot of unnecessary bee ess when I first started here but it has gotten much better. Conversations with management and my DMs have made a difference.
JBS is a good company. Although I don't agree with them being a training company at this point. But that doesn't affect me because I won't train anyway.
Going home next week (April 20th), they are already heading me to the southeast from Utah and then they will run me out there until its tiome to go home to Florida.
Communication is key here....but tactful, professional communication. whining, hollering, and crying gets you nowhere....
Good things coming down the pike here at JBS....excited about the future! -
I have never been charged for shortages. They can not hold you responsible for a pre loaded and sealed trlr. all meat loads out of the plants are. only live loads of neat are out of cold storage and you are not allowed on the docks.

they took it away because nobody else is allowing it. per Randy

Sorry man... "Randy" is blowin' smoke somewhere the sun don't shine on that one!
Its a common, but optional practice at many carriers.Panhandle flash Thanks this. -
Yes they average between 1500 and 2500 a week, Never turn down a load, that would just be dumb if you are out on the road anyway. The loads that I have turned down should have never been up for a road driver in the first place, 100 mile loads for PP,

To be honest the line 5 thing is because the JBS management once again don't know what they are doing, I think what they do is read somewhere that a different trucking company is doing something, so they try to do it, I m not sure. It is apparent that it is in the upper management
