Hey guys. Its Day 2 down here in Cartersville, and pretty much the first 2 days has been loads of paperwork, some videos, and worked on our map reading skills. Must say Greg is a great instructor, and has a wealth of knowledge in this Industry. Tommorow we begin working on shifting and do the famed Millis 500. So far, I really believe I made the right choice with this company as I have heard no complaints and seen nothing but positives. Ill update this when I have a chance. All yall be safe out there

Hey guys,
Just got done with Day 4, and today was full of those exciting videos, lol. Tommorow we start working on our Pre trip, Coupling/Uncoupling procedures, and also start working on backing I belive. So far I still love it and am looking forward to keep on learning. Baritone swung by the terminal Wednesday, and I must say it was a pleasure meeting you man. Ill update this when I get a chance, but yall be safe out there. -

Did you mean to say APRIL 11th class? You're doing well with August so far into the future!!
-
lol i just noticed that too

As Whitey said (Dude you really gotta change that name) - it will fly by. Hopefully I can make it back down there before you all leave. -
Man, I didnt even realize the August thing, lol. Ill try to change it if it lets me. We just finished up Week 1 and today we worked primarily on Straight line backing and Parallel backing. Straight line is pretty simple, and parallel is something that gets better every time you do it. If I understand it correctly next week is going to be mainly focused on backing. All yall be safe out there this weekend

Anybody know how I can change the title of the thread, I cant seem to figure it out, Lol

LOL Baritone.... Dont go picking on my nickname.... I recieved that nickname from when i was in ROTC and we were called by last name... My last name is Whitener and my best friend started calling me "Whitey" and then everyone else did so as well... so it has just carried with me over the years.... Its not a very common nickname so dont have to worry about running into another driver with that cb handle...lol
